Channel 4’s The Last Leg pranks Suella Braverman into collecting ‘D*** of the year’ award
Former home secretary Suella Braverman found herself unwittingly receiving the “D*ck of the Year” award during the launch of a fictional angling company, “Fareham Fishing,” in her constituency.
Pranksters Josh Pieters and Archie Manners, hosting a segment for Channel 4’s Last Leg program, orchestrated the elaborate prank.
As Ms. Braverman cut a red ribbon with her attention turned away, the duo revealed a sign declaring her the “D*ck of the Year 2023.” They then handed her the tongue-in-cheek prize before making a swift exit from the pier.
In the aftermath, a visibly surprised Ms. Braverman, after a moment of confusion, turned to her staff, expressing, “I’m not sure what that is all about.” The Last Leg annually bestows this award upon an unwitting public figure, chosen by viewers and the show’s hosts.
It’s worth noting that Ms. Braverman had been relieved of her position as home secretary the previous month following her allegations of bias against Metropolitan Police chiefs in handling pro-Palestine protests.
