Chick Fil A Is Launching A Streaming Service
Chick-fil-A, the fast-food chain widely recognized for its popular chicken sandwiches and Banana Pudding Milkshakes, is expanding its brand into the entertainment industry.
According to an August 21 report from Deadline, the company is preparing to launch its own streaming platform, accompanied by a slate of original programming.
The chain is reportedly collaborating with several major production companies to produce a variety of “family-friendly” shows, with a strong focus on reality TV.
Additionally, Chick-fil-A is in discussions to license and acquire existing content, and there are also talks of producing scripted shows and animation, hinting at a broad and diverse content strategy.
Among the original content in development is a family-friendly game show from the creators of NBC’s “The Wall.” Another notable project comes from Sugar23, the production company known for hit series like 13 Reasons Why, The OA, and True Detective.
According to Deadline, this Sugar23-produced show has already secured a 10-episode order, underscoring the serious investment Chick-fil-A is making in its new venture.
While many of the details remain under wraps, sources suggest that Chick-fil-A is eyeing a late 2024 launch for its streaming service.
